tiredThis is my first post here and I'm very aware that I'm talking to myself right now, because ... no one's here. It's a bit like the very first blank page after the old dead tree journal has been filled up. Which would be LJ which at this point just doesn't seem worth it. Er, not that I ever paid for it, but if I had, boy, would I be pissed! Harumph!
There was just something vaguely and generically insulting the other night about finding posts on my flist marked "You are about to view content that may not be appropriate for minors/may only be appropriate for adults" and then searching around and around to find out a) WTF was going on in the first place and b) that things were still messed up because I hadn't entered the year of my birth in my profile, though I'm pretty sure I remember doing that a few years ago.
Not too crazy about the SUP news either, especially since Alexander Mamut is a FoV (friend of Vladimir's) who's been getting just a little too gleefully authoritarian for my tastes in recent months.
At any rate, must go do something constructive like shop online in my bathrobe.
